Type B-2, named Bourbon (ブルボン, Burubon), is a creature appearing in The House of the Dead and its 2022 remake. Similar to Kageo, he is a skeletal being that appears in the first and third stages.
Appearance[]
Bourbon is a shirtless creature with pale white eyes and face, frizzled black hair, and a bloody jaw. The rest of his body is greener in flesh tone and wrapped in seaweed. He is barefooted and wears tattered dark pants and a belt.
In the remake, he has yellowish and greenish skin. His pants are tattered and it's brown. He is thin and has several green mushrooms on his chest and belly. His jaw is bloody and half bumpy, revealing the muscles in his jaw and the inside of his mouth. His teeth are exposed and visibly yellowish and full of tartar. His hair is brown now. And his eyes are a little beige with the brown iris.
Gameplay[]
The House of the Dead[]
Like Kageo, Bourbon appears infrequently; he resides in the Curien Mansion's underground sewers during the first stage, only appearing regardless of the player's path in the third stage. Unlike his predecessor, however, Bourbon has higher health and faster movement. He also tends to appear without warning, usually in the middle of attacking.
Bourbon dies in two headshots. Memorizing where he appears can increase the likelihood of avoiding damage.
The House of the Dead: Remake[]
Similarly to Kageo, he will only swing at the player with either his right arms or both arms. If the right arm is shoot off, he'll do a headbutt attack every time. However, unlike Kageo, if his left arm is shoot off, he'll also only do headbutt attacks from that point onwards.
